Local high school bowling teams were back on the lanes Tuesday, January 13, with Urbana, Benjamin Logan, and West Liberty-Salem all competing in varsity action across several matchups.
VARSITY BOYS — Benjamin Logan 2441, North Union 2208
Benjamin Logan earned a road win over North Union behind strong games from the top half of the lineup.
Conner Chambers paced the Raiders with a 198–237 series for 435, while Jace Lyons rolled a 403. Dylan Stewart added 395, and the Raiders stayed consistent through the Baker games to seal the victory.

Rylee Davis led the Raiders with a 348 series, followed closely by Maddy Hamm’s 343. Aubrey Zedlitz, Kaelyn Corwin, and Kaydon Wilber all contributed consistent scores as Benjamin Logan pulled away.

The Urbana girls edged Kenton Ridge in a tightly contested match, powered by two big series at the top of the lineup.
Mallory Stokes led all bowlers with an impressive 238–236 series for 474. Audrie Williams added a 426 series, and Emily Fisher chipped in 375 as Urbana built just enough separation to hold on for the win.

JUNIOR VARSITY GIRLS — Bellefontaine 2072, West Liberty-Salem 1770
The Bellefontaine JV girls closed out the night with a strong win over West Liberty-Salem, led by a big series from Amillia Grumbling.
Grumbling topped all scorers with games of 188 and 183 for a 371 series. Isabelle Gunnett followed with a 148–172 series for 320, while Riley Niswonger contributed a solid 160 game. Esther Stanich added a 144, and Nevaeh Boyer chipped in a 143 as the Lady Chiefs pulled away for the victory.
