On Saturday, Riverside’s 8th-grade volleyball team faced Bellefontaine, losing in three sets: 25-17, 19-25, 14-25.
Leading the Pirates was Eva Dodds with 14 points, 10 aces, 2 kills, and 1 block.
Ellie Zwiebel contributed 5 points, 2 aces, and 1 kill, while Madison Schindewolf added 4 points, 1 ace, and 1 kill.
Riverside will return to action on Tuesday at home against Sidney Lehman in league play.
