The Riverside Boys Golf team faced a challenging matchup against Bethel at Sugar Isle, with Bethel emerging victorious. Riverside’s team finished with a total score of 175, while Bethel secured a win with a combined score of 225.
Riverside’s standout performance came from Jaxon Woods, who led his team with a score of 42. Hayden McCully followed with a 51, Daniel Esh shot a 62, and Syler Clark rounded out the team with a 70.
On the other side, Bethel’s Josh Fiery delivered an impressive round, carding a 38. Phillip Dix also contributed with a solid 43, while Logan Norris, Gabe Velderman, Braylen Stegner, and Ethan Wishan added scores of 45, 49, 50, and 50, respectively.
The Riverside Boys Golf team will look to improve their performance as they head to their next competition at Miami East on Wednesday.
