Riverside Celebrates Senior Night With a Win; Other Teams Win

The Riverside Softball team hosted Milton Union in TRC action and came away with a 1-0 win.

Taylor Dillon had the key hit in the bottom of the 7th to score the winning run.

Keira Manahan pitched a great game and had a great defense behind her allowing on 3 hits and striking out 9.

Offensively Riley Dillon went 3-3 on the day.

Riverside will host Covington on Tuesday night.

 

The Lady Chiefs traveled to Tecumseh Monday and won 17-4.

The battery of Averie Vigansky (P) and Laila Butler (C) recorded 7 strikeouts in the win.

Offensively Addison Wical went 3-3 with a double and a grand slam breaking her own record for most doubles in a season from last year.

Alexza Clifton had a double and broke the career runs scored record.

Averie Vigansky went 3-3 with a double, Rianna Fullerton went 2-3 with a double, Kassi Prine added a homerun, and Emma Crabtree and Airiana Young each added a double.

The Lady Chiefs will play at home on Wednesday against Tecumseh.

They will be celebrating their six seniors in their last regular season home game.

 

It came down to the wire Monday night as the JV Lady Chiefs grabbed the victory in walk-off fashion, 11 to 10 over Tecumseh.

The game was tied at the bottom of the 10th inning.

When Alayna Boyd lined our allowing a run to score.

The Chiefs came from behind with the help of hot bats.

Ava Dolan and Chloe Heminger had tripled.

Kylee Boggs and Alayna Boyd had multiple hits and Andie Eicher had 2 stolen bases and scored the winning run on Tecumseh’s throwing error.

The JV Lady Chiefs travel to Tecumseh on Wednesday.

Benjamin Logan defeated North Union Monday night 6-1.

The Lady Raiders tallied 6 hits on the night from five players.

Brooks Myers led the way going 2-3 with a double and an RBI, while Kyndal Cronkleton had a hit and drove in two runs.

Courtney Bowers doubled, and Keeli Rostorfer and Bailee Stover each added a hit.

On the mound, Adiynne Gregg earned the win for Benjamin Logan striking out five.

The Lady Raiders will finish two and a third innings at home against Springfield Shawnee on Tuesday.

The game will resume at 5:15 pm.

 

The Lady Tigers softball team won against Cedarville 7 to 1.

Kennedy Wallace earned the win on the mound only giving up one hit.

Whitney Strapp led the offense with two hits.

Wallace, Audrey Collins, and Kaylee Blair each had two RBIs.

Lady Tigers traveled to Greenview on Tuesday.
