Riverside Falls to Milton Union; West Liberty-Salem Defeats Mechanicsburg


The Riverside Varsity Lady Pirates lost to Milton Union 21-35 on Thursday night.

Milton Union had a slight advantage after one quarter with a 7-5 lead.

The Pirates came back and took the lead in the second quarter with an 18-16 lead at the half.

Milton Union though took back the lead in a low scoring third quarter with 22-18 advantage and the bulldogs won the fourth quarter to win the game.

Leading the Pirates in scoring was Avery Perk with 14 points.

The Lady Pirates now fall to 7-14 on the year and 4-10 in the conference.

They finish the regular season at Northeastern on Saturday night in a varsity only game.

The Riverside JV Lady Pirates beat Milton Union in a two quarter game 19-14.

Maddie Lemly led the Pirates with 6 while Emilee Robinson and Kenna Johnson both had 4.

The JV Pirates finish their season with a 12-5 record.


The West Liberty-Salem Lady Tigers defeated Mechanicsburg in a close game 39-36.

The JV squad fell to Mechanicsburg 38-29.

Maddie McGill led the Tigers scoring 16 points.
