Area high school bowling teams took to the lanes Tuesday night with mixed results across the board.

Over at Hillcrest Lanes, Riverside faced Kenton in a varsity match but was defeated with a final score of 2,707 to 2,292.
Kaitlyn Jackson led the Pirates with a 196 game, while Aiden Manning added a 181 game to the team’s total.
Riverside will compete this Saturday at HP Lanes for a baker tournament.
The West Liberty-Salem girls bowling team defeated Emmanuel Christian 2,296 to 1,878.
Alyssa Mueller led the team with a solid 190 game, followed closely by Lilly Gearheart with a 186.
Elli Ullery rolled a 201, Kathy Roehm posted a 196, and Jenny Reprogle contributed a 162.
The Tigers dominated in both the two-game total (1,680 to 1,364) and the baker total (616 to 514), securing a decisive win.
The victory improved their record to 9-3 on the season.
The West Liberty-Salem boys team, on the other hand, came up short against Emmanuel Christian, losing with a match total of 2,603 to 2,499.
Zander Gluckle led the team with a strong 196 game, and Devon Jones contributed 187.
Carson Kerns added 183, and Luke Thomas posted a 164.
The boys fell behind in the two-game total (1,700 to 1,908) and the baker total (799 to 695).
The boys now sit at 7-6 overall on the season.
