Riverside’s 7th-grade volleyball team hosted Bethel Thursday evening and was dealt a loss.
Bethel won in 2 sets 26-24 and 25-19.
Leading scorers were:
- Ellie Zwiebel with 7 points with 5 aces and 2 hits
- Morgan Klingelhofer 4 points with 4 aces and 3 hits
- Abigail Littlejohn 3 points with 1 ace and 2 hits
- Eva Dodds 3 points with 2 aces
- Emma Pope 1 point with 1 ace.
Riverside is in action again Saturday at home.
Riverside’s 8th grade team also fell to Bethel Thursday.
Molly Carman had 14 points and 7 aces, and Addison Shoe had 6 points and 4 aces.
