The Riverside 7th and 8th grade girls basketball teams dropped a pair of close contests to Bethel on Monday night.
In the 7th grade matchup, Riverside was defeated 28–15.
Kinsley Crawford led the scoring effort with 6 points. Lilly Haynes, Bella Shultz, Avery Wheeler, and Emma Schneider each added 2 points, while Brylee Shepherd chipped in 1 point.
The Riverside 8th grade squad battled hard but came up short in a 21–15 loss.
Bella Robinson paced the offense with 6 points. Brylee Shepherd followed with 4 points, while Lilly Haynes scored 2, Kinsley Crawford added 2, and Bella Shultz finished with 1 point.
