In Friday night’s football game against Spencerville, Riverside senior Gavin Orsborne shattered the school record for passing yards in a single game.
Orsborne threw for 361 yards, surpassing the previous record of 332 yards set by Riverside head coach Bryce Hodge in 2010 during a win over Waynesfield-Goshen.
Coach Hodge said, “One of the best feelings as a Coach is helping your players reach their potential and be better than you ever were as a player. Beyond happy to have one of my players break the single-game passing mark, hopeful he’ll break the single-season mark by the end of the year. If he has, I’ve done my job. I’m this kid’s biggest fan!”
Congratulations to Gavin Orsborne for achieving this milestone and to his teammates for their support!
