Construction at Riverside Schools in DeGraff continues to progress this summer, with the roof of the new field house now fully completed.

School officials shared an update this week, showcasing the impressive new facility that will feature two full-size basketball courts for students and athletes.

The gym is already drawing attention for its size and the boost it will provide to local athletics.

“This gym is huge,” the district said in a social media post. “It’s exciting to see it come together.”

With roofing finished, crews are preparing to install exterior siding in the coming weeks as the project moves forward.

Meanwhile, the first piece of turf has been installed at Veterans Memorial Stadium.

Workers are aiming to complete the turf by next week.

Once the new track asphalt is poured, the field will be ready for Pirate football—from the high school and junior high teams to the peewee program.
