On Saturday the Calvary Christian boys defeated Waynesfield Goshen in the consolation game of the Meyers Tavern Tip-Off Tournament at Botkins High School,46-42.
Daniel Young and Wyatt Schlatter led the Spartans with 9 points each.
Zeeke Wylie added 8 points.
Evan Patton and Luke Gaertner both netted 7 points and Phil Davie added 6.
Wyatt Schlatter had the most rebounds with 11.
Other rebounders were Zeeke Wylie and Phil Davie with 5, and Evan Patton with 3.
Saturday, Riverside fell to Botkins 76-48.
Leading the way for the Pirates was Dominick Stotler scored 18 points and Gavin Orsborne netted 16 points.
Jaxon Woods added 9 points to the score.
