The Bellefontaine Boys Cross Country team qualified for the Regional Meet and are District Runner-Up.
The boys ran at Cedarville College on Saturday.
Out of more than 160 runners the Chiefs placed:

The Bellefontaine Girls team finished 12th at the District Meet (Top 8 qualify for regionals).
Grace Brown finished 4th overall qualifying as an individual for the Regional meet.
Ella Reier and Zoey Rister ran strong races to finish out their Chieftain XC careers.

The Lady Raider cross country team placed 8th in the SW District Championship.
The top 8 teams qualified for the Regional Championships.
Georgia Bates led the Raiders with her 24th-place finish in a field of 140 runners. She covered the rolling 3.1-mile course in a time of (21:01).
Completing the scoring were Estella Wenger who finished in 43rd place in a time of (21:57), Hadley Boysel 57th (22:39), Scarlett Elliott 66th (23:01), Peyton Smith 73rd (23:37 PR), Mylee Boysel 75th (23:42) and Nora Elliott 81st in a time of 23:58.
The Benjamin Logan boys cross country team completed their season on Saturday at the Southwest District Division 2 meet at Cedarville University.
The Raiders finished 14th out of 22 schools.
Sophomore Tyler Shoopman lead the Raiders with a time of 18:10 (48th), followed by Senior Eli Rhodes 18:18 (52nd), Freshman Maxwell Troth 18:58 (83rd), Junior Landon Zehner 19:31 (97th), Junior Aaron Rhodes 19:41 (102nd), Sophomore Parker Sutherly 19:53 (106th), and Freshman Gabe Elsasser 19:59 (111th).
The Indian Lake girls cross country team qualified for regionals by placing 5th at the OHSAA D2 district championships on Saturday.
Reagan Rash led the Lakers placing 6th with a time of 19:48 and Evie Wagner placed 29th in a time of 21:16 to qualify individually.
Hannah Metzger placed 47th (22:09), KaiLea Miller placed 50th (22:18) and Alicia Brielmaier finished 90th (24:34) to round out the scorers. Kayleigh Taylor finished 92nd (24:40) and Makayla Motter finished 114th (26:00).
Grant McPherson led the Laker boys finishing 43rd with a time of 18:00.
Titus Kelly was 75th (18:52), Tony Cummins was 77th (18:53), Cason Lacher was 126th (20:39), and Daniel Wahl was 128th (20:54). Vince Wilson finished 132nd (21:06) and Caleb Altstaetter finished 135th (21:14 PR).
The West Liberty-Salem boys cross country team won the D3 Southwest District title on Saturday.
It marks back-to-back years winning the title and the program’s 17th District Title overall.

The West Liberty-Salem girls cross country team won its seventh consecutive DIII Southwest District title Saturday at Cedarville University.
Malia Miller led the Big Orange placing 4th overall with a career PR of 19:16.6.
The Big Orange went on to place three more runners in the top 15 with Ashley Yoder placing 11th (20:02.78), Breece Gullett 12th (20:04.64), Addison McAuley 14th (20:16.32). Placing in the top 25 were Hattie Jacobs 21st in a career PR of 20:54.21 and Gwen McCullough 25th (21:05.56). Mallory Bostick rounded out the WLS placers in 41st (22:11.90).
WLS will compete at the DIII SW Troy Regional next Saturday at 10:00 a.m.
The Regional Championship meet will be held at Troy Hobart Arena on Saturday, October 28. The girl’s division II race will take place at 12:00 noon.
