Senior night victory for Indian Lake; Mounce’s 35 leads Urbana

Wednesday night, Indian Lake’s varsity girls basketball team defeated Benjamin Logan 52-32, as seen on PeakofOhioTV.

Before the game, lone senior Mackenzie Dixon was honored for her contributions to the team throughout her high school career.

Kennedy Schwaderer led the Lakers with an impressive 18-point performance, adding 6 rebounds, 5 steals, and 3 assists.

Dixon contributed 10 points, while Carly Strayer chipped in with 8 points and 9 rebounds.

The rest of the scoring was rounded out by Rya Pequignot (6 points), Alivia Kinney (4 points), and Courtney Altstaetter (4 points).

For the Raiders, Kylie Harner had 11 points, Adilynne Gregg scored 6, Daylin Varner added 5, and Joplin Schneider netted 4 points.

Benjamin Logan finished their season 4-18, they begin tournament play Tuesday night at Troy at 6:00 pm as they take on Archbishop Alter.

In junior varsity action, the Lakers fell to Ben Logan, 44-35.

Leading the Lake was Terra Beltz who netted 17 points and grabbed 9 rebounds.

For the Lady Raiders Bryleigh Burnside had her best night of the season with 13 points, Madison Shields added 12, Hailey Smith pitched in 10, and Miley Buettner netted 6 points.

They finished their season 13-5.

Urbana Hillclimbers Defeat London 57-34

In other girls basketball action, Urbana defeated London 57-34, with Peyton Mounce leading the Hillclimbers with an impressive 35-point performance.
