The Benjamin Logan boys soccer team defeated Bellefontaine Wednesday by the score of 5 -1.

Graham Studebaker had 2 goals and Carter Lyden, Seth Jones, and Evan Carpenter each had a goal.

Assists went to Eric Hughes, Ethan Miller, Landen Simon, and Ben Chamberlain.

Coach Hughes “That was a really good game for us.  We have been struggling with scoring lately and it was nice to get 5 on the board. We knew Bellefontaine would be organized and hungry for a win but we were able to move the ball and take 37 shots on the night. We look to continue to improve this Saturday in a big game at London who has been playing well this year.”

The Raiders are now 3-3-1 and travel to London this Saturday for a 2:45 p.m. start.

Chieftain Caleb Torsell was selected as Man of the Match by scoring the lone goal for BHS with a banger of a shot from 33 yards out.

The Lady Raiders took down Bellefontaine tonight by a score of 2-1.

Izzy Henderson netted two goals in the win with Emily Cogossi tallying 7 big saves.

Ben Logan moves to 3-1 (1-1 Conference) on the season and will head to London on Saturday for a 4:45 p.m. game.

The ILHS girls soccer team lost to Tecumseh 2-0 Wednesday night.

A stellar performance by keeper Savannah Hill held the score at 0-0 well into the second half of the game.

Tecumseh was then able to take advantage of two back-to-back opportunities to put themselves ahead.

Hill recorded 17 saves for the Lakers.
