Softball: Benjamin Logan Suffers Loss; Riverside and Bellefontaine Win Wednesday Night


Benjamin Logan suffered a tough loss to North Union 9-1 on Wednesday night.

The Lady Raiders struggled to get the bats going and only saw two hits.

Tanna Jacobs and Libby Siefring each singled on the night.

Siefring also walked twice and was on base three times, but the Lady Raiders couldn’t get her across the plate.

Brooks Myers walked in the fourth inning, moved around the bases, and eventually scored the Raiders’ lone run on a wild pitch.

Chloe Crumm and Adilynne Gregg shared time on the mound in the loss striking out a combined 5 batters.

The Lady Raiders hope to bounce back on Thursday as they host a cross-over game against Tecumseh.

The first pitch will be thrown at 5:15.


Riverside traveled to Troy Christian Wednesday night for a 4-2 win.

Keira Manahan pitched a good game allowing 5 hits and striking out 11.

Offensively, Jayden Hoffer had 2 hits with an RBI, and Avery Perk had a triple with 1 RBI.


The Lady Chiefs celebrated their six seniors last night in a win against Tecumseh 9-2.

Averie Vigansky earned the win on the mound.

Offensively Ellie Mitchell went 2-3 with a double, Alexza Clifton 2-3, Rianna Fullerton 2-4, Laila Butler 2-4, Addison Wical, and Averie Vigansky each added a double.

The Lady Chiefs will play their last regular season game on Friday at Graham.
