St. Clair Moves up in Ranking

The Ohio State University’s head football coach Ryan Day has earned everyone’s trust with his track record of picking quarterbacks.

Each of his quarterbacks has gone on to be selected in the first round of the NFL draft since he has been at the helm in Columbus.

Several folks didn’t understand why the Buckeyes took a commitment from 2025 Bellefontaine’s star quarterback due to his low recruiting rankings.

When Tavien St. Clair committed to the Buckeyes, he was rated as the No. 234 overall player and Thursday he moved up almost 100 spots to 144th overall.

In the Buckeye in-house rankings, St. Clair went from the 244th overall prospect to the 35th, just outside 5-star status.

His composite score is expected to be around the top 50 players in the country, once updated.
