Strong turnout for 21st Rushsylvania Rockets 5K

Runners hit the pavement Saturday morning for the 21st Annual Rushsylvania Rockets 5K, a community favorite that brought out athletes of all ages.

Joe Parker led the men’s field with a time of 17:23, while Gwendolyn Smith was the top female finisher, clocking in at 21:50.
