Three Bellefontaine football standouts have been selected to play in an all-star game on Friday, June 7th at Centerville High School.
Recent grads Chris Fogan, Haiden Manns, and Jack Varner will play on the Miami Valley Football Coaches Association (MVFCA) team.
Their team will play against the Southwest Ohio Football Coaches Association (SWOFCA) squad.
Fogan will play tailback, Manns will play defensive end, and Varner will play on the offensive line Friday night.
All three Chiefs will play college football.
Fogan will play at Ohio Dominican, Manns has signed with Duquesne, and Varner will play at Wittenberg.
Fogan, Manns, and Varner helped lead the Chiefs to a historic season last fall.
The ’23 Chiefs were the first team in school history to win three playoff games in the same season. BHS advanced to the Division III regional final in November.
Bellefontaine head football coach Jason Brown praised Fogan, Manns, and Varner for being selected for this week’s contest:
The game will start at 7 p.m. Tickets are $8 and can be purchased at the gate.
The MVFCA head coach will be Matt Burgbacher from Tipp City.
