Bellefontaine Boys Basketball: The Bellefontaine 8th grade boys basketball team fell to North Union with a final score of 58-29. The 7th grade boys also lost to North Union, 35-33, in a close match.
Bellefontaine Girls Basketball: The 8th grade Lady Chiefs hosted North Union but were defeated 48-17. Mia Brown led the team with 10 points, and Lexey Brown added seven. The Lady Chiefs will return home next Thursday to host Ben Logan. In a tough game, the 7th-grade girls basketball team also lost to North Union 28-22. Annie Gallaway scored 8 points in the second half, while Gianna Davis added 6 points and 5 rebounds. Alexis Hogan contributed 3 points and 3 assists. The 7th grade Lady Chiefs are now 3-3 for the season and will host Ben Logan next Thursday.
Riverside Basketball: The Riverside 7th grade boys team lost to Lehman Catholic, 42-37. The 8th grade boys team was defeated 68-17 by Lehman Catholic.
Benjamin Logan Girls Basketball: The Benjamin Logan 7th grade girls basketball team secured a 25-10 victory over Urbana, moving to 4-0 on the season. Michaelee Hoge had a standout performance with 13 points, 8 rebounds, 2 blocked shots, and 2 steals. Addy Leonard added 6 points and 10 rebounds. The 8th-grade girls also pulled off a close win, defeating Urbana 32-31. Josie Taylor led the Raiders with 12 points and 13 rebounds, while Paisley Rodenburger contributed 7 points and 6 steals. The Raiders are now 2-2 on the season.
WL-S 7th Grade Girls Basketball: The WL-S 7th grade girls basketball team triumphed over Mechanicsburg with a close 28-26 victory. Lilly Yeater and Avery Randall each scored 9 points, while Bella Johnson added 8. The 7th grade Lady Chiefs are now 4-0 for the season and will travel to Greenview for their next game on December 19th.
