The West Liberty-Salem Tigers boys golf team competed in a tri-match on Wednesday night, securing a win over Northeastern but falling short against Mechanicsburg.
The Tigers triumphed with a score of 199 to Northeastern’s 223 but were defeated by Mechanicsburg, who shot 167 to the Tigers’ 199.
This brings the Tigers’ season record to 7-6.
The team will have another opportunity to challenge Mechanicsburg on Thursday at Liberty Hills to conclude the week’s play.
