Tigers strike big in win; Lakers stumble against Kenton Ridge

The West Liberty-Salem Tigers secured an 11-7 win over the Triad Varsity Cardinals on Tuesday.

Taylor Cook and Kiersten Stoll led the charge with three hits each.

Cook and Audrey Collins each drove in three runs, while Kaylee Blair and Britton Carter also collected multiple hits.

The Tigers will be back in action on Friday, hosting Southeastern Local.

Indian Lake struggled in a 13-0 loss to Kenton Ridge.

Kenton Ridge took control early, scoring five runs in the first inning after a combination of hits and an error by the Lakers.

Bre Wisener pitched four innings of relief, giving up seven hits and eight runs (seven earned), while striking out one and walking one.

Halle Roby started the game, allowing five hits and five runs (four earned) in one inning.

The Lakers will travel to Shawnee on Wednesday for their next matchup.
