Tigers’ Wallace signs with Marietta

West Liberty-Salem High School senior Corbin Wallace has officially signed his letter of intent to continue his academic and athletic career at Marietta College, where he will compete as a safety for the Pioneers football program. Wallace celebrated the milestone on February 15, joined by family members, coaches, teammates, and friends.

Football has been a driving force in Wallace’s life from an early age, and playing at the collegiate level has long been one of his goals. Throughout his time at West Liberty-Salem, he balanced the high expectations of both the classroom and the field, developing into a disciplined and well-rounded student-athlete.

During his senior season, Wallace earned First Team All-OHC honors and was named All-Southeast District Honorable Mention. His performance and leadership drew attention from Division I, II, and III programs. After visiting multiple campuses, Wallace ultimately chose Marietta College, pointing to the strong coaching staff and positive culture within the program as key factors in his decision.

Wallace’s journey reflects resilience, faith, and determination. Despite facing challenges along the way, he remained focused on his goals, continuing to grow as both a competitor and a leader.

West Liberty-Salem is proud of Wallace’s accomplishments and grateful for the leadership and character he demonstrated throughout his time as a Tiger. The school community looks forward to following his continued success at Marietta College as he begins the next chapter of his football career.
