Indian Lake girls finished 5th and the boys finished 8th at the Graham Invite Friday night.
The girls scored 45 points led by Addison Beck who placed 1st in the long jump (15-2.25), 5th in the 200 m dash (28.57), and 8th in the high jump (4-8). Ava Faler placed 2nd in the long jump (15-2.5) and 3rd in pole vault (7-0). Reagan Rash was third in the 800 m run (2:41). The 4×400 relay team of Ava Faler, Cameron Finfrock, KaiLea Miller, and Reagan Rash was 5th (4:40). The 4×800 relay team of KaiLea Miller, Evie Wagner, Hannah Metzger and Reagan Rash was 5th (11:39). Hannah Metzger was 7th in the 3200 m run (13:26) and KaiLea Miller was 8th in the 1600 m run (6:29).
The boys scored 31 points led by Quest Clay who placed 1st in the long jump (18-5). Gavin Henry was 5th in the 110 hurdles (17.24). Noah Shirk was 7th in the 110 hurdles (18.35) and in the 300 m hurdles (46.14). Grant McPherson was 7th in the 400 m dash (56.79). The 4×100 relay team of Drake Cosby, Quest Clay, Gavin Henry, and Heath Wilson was 5th (47.11) and the 4×400 relay team of Drake Cosby, Grant McPherson, Bryan Mohler, and Everett Wischmeyer was 5th (3:45). The 4×200 relay team of Drake Cosby, Cameron Freyhof, Heath Wilson and Vince Wilson was 6th (1:41).
The Lakers host the Logan County Meet on Tuesday.

The West Liberty-Salem girl’s track and field team placed fourth out of 16 teams at the Minster Memorial Invitational on Saturday.
Delaney Jones powered the Tigers with first-place finishes in the long jump (18’4.75″) and the 100-meter dash (12.34). Jones set a new school record and meet record in the long jump. The previous school record of 16’06.25″ was set by Kaylee LeVan in 2021. Malia Miller also placed first in the 3200-meter run (12:08.08)
Second-place finishes included Mallory Bostick in the 400-meter dash (1:03.51) and the 4×100 Relay team of Tori Douthwaite, Delaney Jones, Chloe Griffith, and Claire Longshore (52.38).
The 4×800 relay team of Addie McAuley, Ashley Yoder, Malia Miller, and Mallory Bostick placed third (10:16.09).
Fifth-place finishes included the 4×200 Relay team of Sophia Hardwick, Hattie Jacobs, Claire Longshore, and Gwen McCullough (1:52.11) and the 4×400 relay team of Gwen McCullough, Ashley Yoder, Addie McAuley, and Mallory Bostick 4:25.66
Finishing sixth were Sophia Hardwick in the 300-meter hurdles (49.72), and Addie McAuley’s 1600-meter run (5:41.77). Claire Longshore 100 meter hurdles (16.76) and Gwen McCullough in the 400-meter dash (1:04.76).
Rounding out the scorers for the Tigers was Sophia Hardwick with a seventh-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles (16.89).
West Liberty-Salem will compete at the Marion Local Relays on Thursday.
The Chiefian girl’s track team competed at the Chieftain Relays.
