The Lady Triad Cardinals opened up at home Saturday evening against Elgin.
For the JV game, Triad lost 42-29.
Leading the Cardinals was, Jazz Ford had 9 points and Gracie Martin added 8 points.
Bre Parsons had 11 rebounds. Melissa Graham and Arlo Monroe also added 7 rebounds.
Triad’s JV drops to (0-1) on the season with this nonleague contest.
For the Varsity game, Triad lost 75-58.
Leading the ladies was, Mia LeMay had 14 points, Abbey Overfield had 12 points, Ashlyn McCoy had 11 points, and Kaley Nott had 10 points.
Ashlyn McCoy had 10 rebounds to create a double-double for her.
Emma Ferguson had 5 steals.
Triad slips to (0-1) on the season.
Triad Varsity will play on Monday at Shawnee.
Game time is 7:00 pm for Varsity only.
