The Triad Cardinals are one win away from a district championship after sweeping Tri-Village in three sets Monday night in the Division VI volleyball tournament.
Triad won 25-16, 25-21 and 25-23 to improve to 20-4 on the season. The Cardinals have now recorded sweeps in both of their tournament matches, continuing an impressive postseason run.
Triad will return to the court on Halloween morning for the district final at 10 a.m. in Kettering. The Cardinals will face either top-seeded Cincinnati Country Day or second-seeded East Clinton.
With a 20-win season and a chance to advance even further in the tournament, Triad continues to build on what could become one of the best seasons in program history.
