Tuesday Volleyball: Indian Lake Wins CBC Title and Bellefontaine, Riverside, West Liberty & Benjamin Logan Results

Indian Lake clinched the Mad River division of the CBC title Tuesday night by beating Graham: 21-25, 25-15, 25-18 & 25-21.

For the Lake:

• Madison Brentlinger had 5 ace serves, 15 kills, and 21 digs
• Kenzie Dixon had 61 pass points, 9 kills, and 20 digs
• Tori Roby had 48 pass points, 3 ace serves, and 20 digs
• Annie Rapp was 20/20 serving with 3 aces and had 7 kills
• Katie Roby was 7/7 serving with 2 aces, and 3 assists and had 23 digs
• Devin Rice had 9 kills and 3 blocks
• Halle Roby had 4 ace serves, 3 kills, 11 digs and 32 assists

The Lakers are 17-4 overall and 9-0 in the CBC.

Their next match is Thursday at Springfield Shawnee.

The JV Lakers beat Graham 25-2, 25-16.

• Addyson Roby was 18/19 serving with 12 aces, 36/36 setting, 11 assists, 7/9 hitting, 3 kills and 6 digs

Bellefontaine Volleyball traveled to London Tuesday for a CBC match-up but fell short: 25-19, 18-25, 21-25 & 17-25.

For the Chiefs:

• Kylie Adams led the Chiefs with 4 blocks and 6 kills
• Taylor Banta tallied 17 digs, 8 kills and was 13/13 serving
• Kelsie Snapp added 13 digs, and 10 kills and was 14/15 serving with 2 aces
• Ava Reeves chipped in with 9 digs and was 13/14 serving
• Reagan Standley was 16/16 serving with 2 aces
• Madi Zedeker recorded 26 assists, and 9 digs and was 12/12 serving with an ace
• Ava Campbell had 2 blocks, was 11/12 serving, and had 3 kills
• Ava Layman added 4 digs.

The JV Chiefs also fell short: 16-25 & 23-25.

• Kaelegh Flora had 4 kills and was 7/8 serving with 2 aces
• Presley Vigansky was 7/8 serving with 2 aces as well and had 5 digs, 2 kills, and 3 assists

The Chiefs host Urbana Thursday night where they will honor the Seniors between the JV Red and Varsity games.
