Candy Craze and Beacon Hill Investment Advisory met again at Southview Park on Tuesday night to battle it out for the U11 BCYSA Championship.
Both teams came ready to play, each trading a pair of goals in the opening minutes. Beacon Hill led going into halftime after Zaleigh Board scored.
After trailing by three goals in the second half, Candy Craze scored three unanswered including one in the final minute of regulation to tie the game at 5-5 and force overtime.
The Candy Craze offensive effort was led by Carson Penhorwood who scored twice. Matthew Torsell, Kaedin Potter, and Brady Wilson each also scored. Naomi Dearwester made multiple saves in net in the second half to keep Candy Craze in the game.
Jack Fissel scored the overtime winner to claim the title for Beacon Hill. He led Beacon Hill Tuesday night, scoring 5 times throughout the game. Leigha Canter added two saves in the early part of overtime to preserve the season for Beacon Hill.
