The Urbana High School Hillclimber Cheer Team had an outstanding performance at the Bellefontaine Cheer Competition, earning first place in both the Gameday and Traditional divisions.
The team impressed judges with their energy, precision, and teamwork, standing out among the competing squads.
Head Coach Jenny Payne said, “Our athletes have been focused on growth and consistency, and I’m proud of how they represented Urbana Cheer today.”
Assistant Coach Ciara Walton added, “The girls put in incredible effort and supported each other throughout every routine. Their dedication and teamwork really shone today.”
The Hillclimbers will continue preparing for upcoming competitions and are set to host The Hillclimber Haunt on Sunday, October 19, at Urbana High School, as they work toward Nationals in Orlando this February.
