In Division II tournament action, Urbana fell to Oakwood 75-68 in the sectional semi-finals at Tecumseh High School.

The Lady Hillclimbers would jump out to an early 10-point, 18-8 lead in the first quarter and would hold off the Lumberjacks, taking a 23-15 advantage into the second quarter.

Down 52-43 heading into the fourth, the Hillclimbers would cut the Lumberjacks’ lead to three, but time was not on the side of Urbana as Oakwood would prevail with a 75-68 victory.

The Hillclimbers were led by their young backcourt in sophomore Peyton Mounce and freshman Alex Dixon, scoring 19 points each. Senior Reagan Cotner finished with 14 and sophomore Lyza Forson pitched in 12.

Urbana finishes the year 17-7.
