The Riverside Lady Pirates hosted the Benjamin Logan Raiders for a “Volley for a Cure” match but fell in three sets with scores of 18-25, 27-29, and 11-25. Avery Perk led the Lady Pirates with 7 kills, 9 assists, and 2 blocks, while Jayden Hoffer also contributed with 7 kills. Aubree Huston was solid defensively with 16 digs, and Miah Carman added 3 blocks.
The Riverside JV team also faced Benjamin Logan, losing in two sets with scores of 15-25 and 20-25. Kenzie Stotler excelled at the serving line, going 100% with 2 aces. Valerie Knight and Addison Shoe each had a block, and Kara Klingler provided 6 assists. Chloe Purtee led in serve receive with 10 digs.
Meanwhile, the Benjamin Logan Raiders showcased their strength, winning the match in straight sets. With a solid performance, they continue to build momentum as the season progresses.
