West Liberty-Salem 8th Grade Triumphs in OHC North Championship
The West Liberty-Salem 8th grade girls volleyball team clinched the OHC North championship by defeating Fairbanks in two straight sets. The team, coached by Trisha Foster, included standout players Ava Martin, Payton Rowley, Jules Lovelesa, Cortnee Muterspaw, Reese Winters, Loretta Moxley, Brylee Liggett, Kenna Wright, and Sydney Conley. WLS 7th Grade Dominates OHC North Tournament
In another impressive performance, the West Liberty-Salem 7th grade volleyball team secured 1st place in the OHC North tournament this weekend. The team featured Avery Randall, Paysley Wesson, Devyn Carter, Kenzie Underwood, Amelia Miller, Jaylynn Martin, Alissa Dixon, Callie Trimble, Rylee Falloon, Bella Johnson, Sophia Jackson, and Caroline Foster. Great job, girls!
Ben Logan 8th Grade Advances in CBC Tournament
The Ben Logan 8th grade volleyball team triumphed over Bellefontaine in the first round of the CBC tournament, winning in straight sets with scores of 25-13 and 25-15. Summer Cline led the team with an impressive 17 kills, while Marley Shields contributed 11 service points and 4 aces. Maddie Stahl added 7 points and 4 aces. The 8th graders will play again on Monday at North Union.
Benjamin Logan 7th Grade Moves to Quarter-Finals
The Benjamin Logan 7th grade volleyball team defeated the Shawnee Braves in their first CBC tournament match, advancing to the Quarter-Finals against London. The girls showcased strong teamwork, with Josie Harshfield serving 6 aces, Michealee Hoge contributing 8 aces and 4 kills, and Maci Stafford adding 8 aces, 5 assists, and 3 kills. The match is set for Monday at 5:30 PM. Well done, Lady Raiders!
Riverside 8th Grade Finishes 4th in Tournament
The Riverside 8th grade volleyball team faced Bethel in the semifinals but fell short with scores of 24-26 and 12-25, finishing 4th in the tournament. Emma Pope led the team with 10 points and 7 aces, while Madison Schindewolf contributed 5 points. The team ended the season with a record of 8-8 in the TRC.
