Lady Raiders fall in OT, IL tops Urbana – Wednesday basketball finals

Local high school girls’ basketball teams hit the court Wednesday

Bellefontaine beat Kenton Ridge 57-50.

Quinlan Zedeker led with 24 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 steals, Tiffany Boop added 11 points, 5 boards, and 4 steals. Parker Penhorwood chipped in with 7 points.

The Lady Chiefs travel to Delaware Hayes Saturday night to finish up the regular season. JV will tip off at 5:30 p.m. and the varsity will follow at 7 p.m.

Benjamin Logan lost in overtime to Graham 48-44.

Mia Stahler had 17 in the loss. Georgia Bates added 14 and McKenzee Roseburrough chipped in with 7.

The Lady Raiders won the JV game 44-6.

Lahna Cook scored 10, Mya Burrey and Aubrey Harris both had 6, Livy Achor added 5, and Adilynne Gregg and Tanna Jacobs each scored 4 points.

Indian Lake defeated Urbana 52-42.

Stephanie Altstaetter led the Lakers with 20 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 assists, Mackenzie Dixon added 19 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists, and Allison Kinney scored 9 points.

For Urbana, Alex Dixon had 17 and Peyton Mounce and Reagan Cotner each scored 10 points.

Indian Lake will host Jackson Center Saturday for senior night.

Triad fell to West Jefferson 56-26.

Mia LeMay recorded 11 points and 6 rebounds in the effort. Abbey Overfield had 6 points, 4 assists, and 8 rebounds, Emma Ferguson tallied 6 points, 3 assists, and 6 boards, and Ashlyn McCoy added 5 rebounds.

The Lady Cardinals lost in the JV game 29-9.

Gracie Martin scored 7 points, Bre Parsons pulled down 13 rebounds, and Olivia Hall added 4 boards.
