West Liberty Thoman’s IGA 12U softball opened its season with a 10-0 shutout over Indian Lake 2 on Monday night.
Delaney Morris pitched a complete game, recording six strikeouts and allowing no runs.
Harper Patton hit a two-run double in the third inning to break the game open.
Paisley Strapp reached base three times, scored three runs, and hit a two-run home run.
Zoey Richardson went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs.
Chloe Staten also went 2-for-3 with two runs scored. Ava Prater added an RBI, and Hannah Thoman led the team with four stolen bases.
The Tigers move to 1-0 on the season.
