The West Liberty-Salem 5th grade boys basketball team went 2-0 on Saturday at the Triad Classic but were defeated in the Gold Bracket semifinals on Sunday.
On Saturday, they defeated Bellefontaine 43-34.
Braxton Louden led the team with 30 points, Isaac Falloon scored 10, Hayes Robinson had 2, and Jackson Barth added 1.
In their second game of the day, they beat North Union 40-19.
Louden scored 27 points, Falloon had 7, and Barth added 6.
On Sunday, they played Urbana in the Gold Bracket semifinals but lost 39-35.
Louden led the team with 15 points, Falloon had 14, Barth scored 4, and Parker Knight added 2.
