In a vibrant ceremony held just before Friday’s football game, West Liberty-Salem High School proudly crowned Isabella Hardwick as Homecoming Queen and Teagon Miller as Homecoming King.
The event was filled with excitement and school spirit, as students, faculty, and family gathered to witness the crowning of this year’s royal couple.
The energy in the stands was electric as fans rallied behind their team, celebrating both the school’s athletic achievements and its rich traditions.
As the evening progressed, cheers filled the air, and the spirit of camaraderie and pride resonated throughout the community.
The West Liberty-Salem Tigers showcased their strength on the field, defeating the Madison-Plains Eagles 33-6 in an impressive homecoming performance.
Quarterback Nick Shifflet led the charge for WL-S, throwing three touchdown passes that helped secure the win. Hunter Know also contributed significantly, connecting for two touchdown passes, making the passing game a key component of the Tigers’ offensive strategy.
Wide receiver Jack Bahan had a standout night, racking up 179 yards receiving along with two touchdowns, demonstrating his ability to make big plays and create separation from defenders.
With this victory, West Liberty-Salem improves to 4-1 on the season, maintaining momentum as they look ahead to upcoming challenges.
