The West Liberty-Salem girls track and field team won the Champaign County meet Monday at Urbana’s Boyce Street Athletic Complex.

Individual champions for the Tigers were Tori Douthwaite Pole Vault (9’06”), Delaney Jones 100 Meter Dash (12.27), Sophia Hardwick 300 Meter Hurdles (48.51), the 4×800 Meter Relay team of Lily Smith, Mariska Smith, Mylee Dooley and Taylor Kennedy (11:22.9) and the 4×100 Relay team of Tori Douthwaite, Chloe Griffith, Alaina Irving and Claire Longshore (52.91).
Placing second for the Tigers were Sophia Hardwick Discus (105’02) and 100 Meter Hurdles (16.80) Elise Longshore Pole Vault (8’06”), Mallory Bostick 400 Meter Dash (1:02.92), Hattie Jacobs 300 Meter Hurdles (51.44), Gwen McCullough 800 Meter Run (2:35.69), Ashley Yoder 3200 Meter Run (12:39.28), the 4×200 Meter Relay team of Sophia Hardwick, Hattie Jacobs, Claire Longshore, Gwen McCullough (1:52.23) and the 4×400 relay team of Hattie Jacobs, Mariska Smith, Gwen McCullough and Mallory Bostick (4:22.38)
Third-place finishers included Alaina Irving in 100 Meter Hurdles (16.92) and 300 Meter Hurdles (54.74), and Malia Miller in the 1600-meter run (5:40.29) and 800-meter run (2:37.73).
Finishing fourth were Claire Longshore 100 Meter Hurdles (17.59), Chloe Griffith 100 Meter Dash (13.25), Taylor Kennedy 1600 Meter Run (6:12.27), Addie McAuley 3200 Meter Run (12:52.97) and Mallory Bostick 200 Meter Dash (28.5).
Rounding out the scorers in fifth place were Claire Longshore high jump (4’04), Chloe Griffith long jump (13’05), Isabella Hardwick shot put (28’09”), Tori Douthwaite 100 Meter Dash (13.70), and 200 Meter Dash (28.65).
WLS will compete at the Wayne Invitational on Thursday and Friday.
