On Saturday, the West Liberty-Salem volleyball teams delivered impressive performances against Triad, securing victories in all three matches. The varsity team won decisively in straight sets, with scores of 25-18, 25-11, and 25-20. Key players included Londyn Loveless, who was flawless on 17 serves and contributed 4 aces, 3 kills, and 16 assists, and Naomi Cole, who also served perfectly with 4 aces, 4 digs, 9 kills, and 2 blocks. Kiersten Stoll and Lilli Heminger added significant contributions with strong serving and attacking performances. The Varsity team is now 2-1 overall and 2-0 in the Ohio Heritage Conference (OHC).
The Junior Varsity A team also triumphed, defeating Triad with scores of 25-16 and 25-15. Standout performances came from Olive Matthews, Addie Hutton, and Belle Sarver, who each made key plays in serving and attacking. The Junior Varsity B team won their match with scores of 25-22, 18-25, and 25-19, with notable efforts from Emma Schneider, Evie Decker, and Audrianna Evilsizor.
All teams will be back in action at home on Tuesday against Fairbanks.
