The West Liberty-Salem Boys Track Team competed at the Triad Invitational on Friday. The boys were first out of 10 teams.

Coach Aaron Lauck says his boys enjoy Triad’s meet. “Triad runs a very good invitational offering a few nontraditional events (300m, 200m hurdles, triple jump) that our athletes enjoy,” he said. “We were very pleased with how the boys performed stepping into some different roles. Our guys were also able to turn in some excellent times despite the chilly temperature.”

The boys will compete on Tuesday at an OHC North meet hosted by Mechanicsburg.
