West Liberty-Salem Tigers girls soccer coach Andy Cotrell has been named the Division III Ohio Girls Soccer Coach of the Year by the Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association.
Cotrell guided his team to a perfect 15-0 regular season (7-0 in the OHC) while winning the OHC title.
The Tigers fell in the second round of the tournament 1-0 in OT to finish their season at 16-1.
Cotrell has coached for 18 years and has over 200 wins to go with six league titles and two district championships.
He will be recognized by the OSSCA at their banquet later this year.
