West Liberty-Salem alum Megan Adams was named the Gulf South Conference freshman of the week.
Adams runs cross country for Lee University.
She was given the honor after placing 56th at the UNA Invitational.
Megan ran the 5k in 18:01.
She helped the Lee University women’s cross country team place 7th at the event.
The Lady Flames are currently ranked #10 in NCAA Division II.
Megan’s older sister Grace also runs for Lee University.
