Riverside High School senior golfer, Jaxon Woods, has signed a National Letter of Intent to continue his golf career at Ohio Northern University (ONU).
Jaxon, the son of Tim and Candice Woods, is set to join the Division 3 school in Ada, Ohio, where he will compete for the Ohio Northern Polar Bears.
When asked why he chose ONU, Woods shared, “I chose ONU because it felt like home to me. They have a great business program, and I really liked the guys on the team. I also considered Bluffton, Tiffin, and Maryville.”
Woods has set clear goals for his future, including continuing his education while striving to make a few qualifiers in the next couple of years.
“I believe my leadership, work ethic, strong faith, and being opportunistic will help me excel at the next level,” said Woods. “I’ve always dreamed of playing sports at the next level. I hope to make new friends, compete hard, and hopefully play some good golf.”
