Zanesfield Cox & Cook and Quincy take home wins in Farm League

Area Farm League teams competed Tuesday evening.

Zanesfield Cox & Cook Wealth Advisors moved to 8-2 with a win over Rushslyvania 13-1.

Connor Cook got the win on the mound while striking out 11 batters.

At the plate, Zanesfield came up big with 10 total hits.

Hollis Boysel had an electrifying home run plating 3 total RBIs.

Josiah Cornelison, Connor Cook, and Liam Carnes all had two hits a piece.

Jayvin Furrow, William Robb, and Briar Barber rounded out the rest of the hits.

 

Quincy defeated Indian Lake #2 14-0.

Defensively pitchers Jake Foreman and Ayden Whitaker worked together in four innings of no-hit baseball with 8 combined strikeouts.

Offensively Hunter Anderson led the way going 2-2 with 4 RBIs.

Aarick Savage went 2-2 with 1 RBI and Charlie Varian went 1-2 with 4 RBIs.
