Two members of the Zanesfield Petanque Club (ZPC) traveled to Portland, Oregon for the 10th Annual Rose City Open.
32 doubles teams competed for over $5800 in prize money.
ZPC member Many Ranaivoson teamed up with Roland Rakotondramana (Chicago) and they ranked #2 after going 4-1 in qualifying play.
Ziggy Kessouagni teamed up with Tom Nguyen (California) and they ranked #4 after going 4-1 in qualifying.
The ZPC teams advanced to the main event.
Both had a first-round buy-in Pool play on Sunday.
Both teams won their first pool game to advance to the main Concours bracket.
Team Many dropped their first game to be eliminated.
Team Ziggy won their next 3 games to reach the final which they dropped 5-13 to place second overall.
