Allan Dale Austin, 73 of Rushsylvania passed away Sunday, January 25, 2026 at his residence.
He was born on October 31, 1952 in Bellefontaine to the late Willam L. and Clara Jane (Blair) Austin. On June 11, 1972 in Rushsylvania he married the love of his life Linda Sue Price, who preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by a grandson, Johnathan Michael Austin.
Allan enjoyed working on small engines, lawn mowers, chainsaws, etc. He was seen by many friends and his family as a workaholic. Allan worked at HBD Thermoid for many years. Above all Allan loved spending time with grandkids, they brought him true joy. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his children, Richie (Michelle) Austin, Jason (Ruth) Austin and Jody (Steve) Skeen; grandchildren Dakota, Starrla, James, Matthew, Brandon and Daniel; step grandchildren, Kelsey and Cory; great grandchildren, Xander and Cooper; step great grandchildren, Branson, Rip, Walker; brothers, Gary (Patti) Austin Karl (Kathy) Austin; sister, Anna (Steven) Monahan; sister-in-law, Debra (Rusty) Ohler; brother-in-law, Danny Risner; many nieces and nephews; several other loving family members.
A funeral service will be held Monday, February 2, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will take place in Rushsylvania cemetery following the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
