Barbara Jean Lewis, 87, of Belle Center, passed away at 9:29 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at Ayden Health Care of Belle Springs. She was born on August 1, 1935, to the late Marvin Houston and Almeda Taylor.

She is survived by three children: Dana (Jennifer) Lewis of Anna, Dwight (Chris) Lewis of Sidney, and Darren (Karen) Lewis of DeGraff; eleven grandchildren: Demetrius, Dwila, Dana, Amy, David, Amanda, Derek, Douglas, Devlin Lewis, Chad Heath, and Sherri Deal; several great-grandchildren, and a brother, Rodney Taylor of Beavercreek. Her son, Dennis (Darlene) Lewis, and grandson, Douglas Lewis preceded her in death.

A spiritual woman and animal lover, Barbara had a passion for the outdoors, whether it be fishing or taking care of her flowers.

There will be no funeral services per Barbara’s wishes.
