Bonnie Lou Horsley of Bellefontaine passed away peacefully Monday, September 14, 2026. She was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio, on June 4, 1957, to the late Paul Edwin and Vivian (Knox) Boysel.
She is preceded in death by her son Dale Michael Johnson and a granddaughter, Madison Brooke Rollins, and siblings Shelby Sheeley, Paula Green, Melody Boysel, Paul Boysel Jr., Alva “Jerry” Stegal, and Don L. Boysel.
She is survived by her daughters Tracy Johnson, Vanessa (Jamey) Rollins, and Mindy Johnson. Grandchildren: Tiffany (Rakeem) Johnson, Tabitha Johnson Blaize (Teia) Irwin, Savanna (Damen) Rollins, Gage (Nina) Rollins, Treyce Rollins, Taylor Shaw, Whitney (Dustin) Boggs, Mercedes Boggs, and Jacqualine (Ashlynn) Johnson.
She is also survived by her siblings Diane Baily, Marsha Stover, Penny Costello, Vicki Baker, Art Boysel, and Don “Tucker” Boysel, and Numerous nieces and nephews.
Bonnie enjoyed many simple things in life, including tending to her garden, sharing a good laugh with family and friends, and taking long walks with her dogs.
