David Richard Wren, 77, of Bellefontaine, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2026, at the Campbell Place in Bellefontaine.
Dave was born July 10, 1948, in Bellefontaine to the late David Ives and Margaret Ellen (Coy) Wren. On February 6, 197,1 in Bellefontaine, he married Dara Janel Holden, who survives. He is also survived by his daughters, Christy Couch and Jill (Shane) Meyer; grandchildren, Mikaela Couch, Gabriella Couch, Alex Couch, Maddie Williams; bonus grandchildren, Brittany White, Storm Dominguez, and Kaitlyn Ginn; sisters-in-law, Donna Wren and Sherry Wren; brother-in-law, Rick Holden; many nieces and nephews; his cats, Buddy and Cami.
Dave retired from the county after many years of dedicated work. He enjoyed his long drives, mushroom hunting, and keeping his Harley shiny and ready for the road. Dave enjoyed family gatherings and having everyone under one roof. He loved food; his prime rib and deviled eggs were well-liked by many of his friends and family. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Terry D. Wren, Cathy LeVan, and Dennis Wren.
A private family service will take place at a later date.
