1943-2025
Donna M. Wiley, 82, of Ridgeway, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at her home. She was born on October 16, 1943, to the late Charles F. and Martha R. (Stevens) Long in East Liberty, Ohio. In 1961, she married Richard L. "Dick" Kelly, and they had 5 sons together. They later divorced. Donna was remarried in 1979 to Jim Wiley, and they were married until Jim's passing in 2013.
Donna is survived by 5 sons; Scott (Linda) Kelly of Ridgeway, Mike "Babe" (Sherry) Kelly of Larue, Bob (Shenan) Kelly of Ridgeway, Toby (Tina) Kelly of Kenton, Dennis "Tom Cat" (Robin) Kelly of Rushsylvania, 18 grandchildren, Ashlie (Shawn) Christopher, Noele (Josh) Wilson, Murraya (Jason) Moyer, Shaunah (Chandler) Smith, Bo (Megan) Kelly, Taylor (Jeremy) Ridge, Mathew Kelly, Ryan Kelly, Daniel Hefty, Melissa (Jordon) Tipton, Brianna Tipton, Bryson Tipton, Brinlyn Tipton, Joshua Tipton, Tyson Kelly (Payton Mabrey), Sean (Kaylee) Kelly, Cody (Audrey) Castle, C.J. (Cailin) Castle, along with her 29 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Judy Kerns of Florida and Polly (Bucky) Lord of Indiana, 1 brother, Chuck Long and Kenton and sister-in-law, Jan Long of Mt. Victory.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Dorthy German, and 3 brothers: Raymond, Melvin, and Pete Long.
Donna enjoyed crocheting afghans, and she made sure that each and every grandchild and great grandchild received an afghan at birth, and she also remembered to send all her sons' and their wives, and each and every grandchild, great grandchild, and her siblings a birthday card every year. She never forgot anyone's birthday. Donna enjoyed having her family there and playing Euchre and bar bingo, and talking about the early days of her 5 sons' wild times when they were younger. She enjoyed The Ohio State Buckeyes, especially Buckeye Football Games. Donna also enjoyed sitting out on her deck and watching the scenery around her. She loved her flowers and feeding her birds and squirrels.
She was as stubborn as you could be at times when she didn't want to do things that she needed to do or when she wanted something done, and if it wasn't done her way, she definitely would let you know that she didn't like it that way. But all in all, she was as kindhearted as they come, and she didn't hesitate to help someone any way that she could. Donna is going to be missed by everyone who knew her, especially all her family.
Visitation for Donna M. Wiley will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Friday, December 19, 2025, at the Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Mt. Victory. Burial at Byhalia Cemetery will take place at a later date.
Memorial donations in Donna's honor may be made to the Amvets Riders and St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
