Dora M. (Wigal) Flowers

Dora M. (Wigal) Flowers passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at the Lima Memorial Hospital ER.

She was born in Union County, Ohio, to the late Vernon and Mary (Patch) Wigal. On October 22, 1956, she married Rex Flowers, who survives in Alger.

Also surviving are a daughter, Trudy Brown of Belle Center; a son, Tim Flowers of Alger; a granddaughter, Ginger (Ken Specht) Brown of Hilliard; and a great-grandson, Kenneth Specht II. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Flowers; a brother, Marvin Wigal; and a sister, Betty Wigal.
Dora graduated from Byhalia High School. She was a homemaker and sold Avon for many years. She was a highly active member of the New Richland Baptist Church in Belle Center, where she taught Sunday school for many years and volunteered for the church at the Heartland of Indian Lake Rehabilitation Center during the holidays. In her free time, Dora enjoyed gardening, baking, sewing, and crocheting. She also loved to travel with her husband; they visited Niagara Falls every year, where they had honeymooned.

Funeral services for Dora will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, March 20, 2026, at the Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton, with Pastor Steve Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Grove Cemetery in Kenton. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home two hours prior to the services.

Memorial donations in Dora's honor may be made to the Heartland of Indian Lake Rehabilitation Center.
