Dr. Aaron Didich, 72, of Strongsville, Ohio, previously of Bellefontaine, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida.
He was born in Warren, Ohio, on October 27, 1953, the son of Frank and Pauline Didich.
On May 12, 1979, he married Jan (Murawski), who survives, along with their son Aaron Michael, daughter-in-law Jocelyn, and grandchildren, Dominic, Emersyn, and Beckham.
He graduated from Warren G. Harding High School in 1971, attended Case Western Reserve University, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from CWRU on May 13, 1975. Prior to attending medical school, he worked as a Physician Assistant in Anesthesia. On June 6, 1983, he graduated from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine with a Doctor of Osteopathy.
After residency, in 1988, he worked as a Trauma Anesthesiologist at the Cleveland Metro Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. He joined the staff at Mary Rutan Hospital in 1988 and retired in August of 2011.
He enjoyed life traveling with his spouse and family.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family wishes to create a Memorial Scholarship in his name to support students entering the medical field.
